Logic Programming

Dozent:innen: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sebastian Erdweg
Kurzname: 08.079.23425
Kurs-Nr.: 08.079.23425
Kurstyp: Vorlesung/Übung

Inhalt

Logic programs consist of logical implications that are executed to derive complex conclusions from initial knowledge. Logic programming has applications in many different areas such as network modeling, symbolic artificial intelligence, and source-code analysis. This course introduces foundational and advanced topics of logic programming, including: logical foundations, unification, denotational and operational semantics, evaluation strategies, negation as failure, Datalog, Prolog, and incremental resolution.
