Requirements / organisational issues

Es ist empfehlenswert, bereits die Veranstaltung "Einführung in die Bioinformatik" gehört zu haben. Programmierkenntnisse in python sind notwendig.

Anwesenheitspflicht

Das Praktikum wird als Blockveranstaltung täglich von 9-17Uhr stattfinden. Nach Absprache können wir Teile des Praktikums ins home office verlegen (voraussichtlich wird der Vormittag in Präsenz, der Nachmittag im home office stattfinden). 

Contents

In diesem Praktikum werden wir uns mit der reproduzierbaren bioinformatischen Analyse von genomischen Daten beschaeftigen. Wir werden dazu verschiedene Hilfsmittel (bash, git, conda, markdown) kennenlernen und anschliessend eine pipeline mit snakemake zur Analyse mehrerer bakterieller Genome implementieren.
