Requirements / organisational issues

The course will give an introduction to Artificial Intelligence with a broad perspective.
In particular, the focus will be on foundational topics and different tools which over the time
have been used for replicating typically "human" traits associated with the word "intelligence".

- An interpretational tool: the "agent"
- Solving problems with AI
    - Search algorithms
    - Optimization
    - Adversarial games
- Logic: first order and propositional
- Knowledge Representation
- Planning
- Probabilistic Reasoning
- Fuzzy Logic
- Machine Learning:
     - Supervised/unsupervised learning  learning 
     - Regression and Classification
     - Deep learning and language models.

Course Material: Notes and Slides from the lecturer.
Course Language: English (Deutsch möglich)
Theoretical classes + Exercises (discussing the homework assignments)
Software project: implementation of an AI strategy
Klausur: written
