The course gives a short introduction to programming in Python and fundamental concepts of programming and algorithms in general.Additional information
Important: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will start virtually. (At least) the first two weeks of the semester will use virtual lectures on MS-Teams. Please register asap. on Teams using the"Teams-Code" xmng20w

It also provides a short teams-tutorial and some additional lecture material. Please consult this web page bevor participating in a teaching event.
Examination:
- This course will hold a mid-term and a final exam.
- The mid-term is a short written exam that is held during one of the lectures (in the middle of the semester).
- The final exam takes place after the lectures.
- The score of the mid-term yields a bonus for the final exam; participation in the mid-term is not mandatory.
- In case of pandemic-related issues, the mid-term exam might be canceled on short notice.
- Sufficient effort and success in the home work assignments is required to be permitted to the final exam ("aktive Teilnahme").
