By Bus
From Mainz main station, bus 69 goes directly to the department for physics, mathematics and computer science at Staudingerweg 9 (8 minutes).The bus stop is marked in the second of the two maps.
In the worst case, you may have to wait for 10 minutes. All other buses also going to the university stop at Saarstraße/K4, which is the east of the campus, not the west. From the east of the campus, it's a 15 minutes walk through the campus to the west and the physics/maths/cs department. So, we would recommend to take bus 69 ("Universität/FH") from "Mainz Hauptbahnhof" (main station) to "Staudingerweg". From stop "Staudingerweg" it is still 2-3 minutes to the department (Google Maps), the middle of three buildings, as indicated in the first map. There you take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
