First Meeting

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 18 at 16:00 in 03-424. All details on the course will be given on that meeting.

Procedure

The lab course intends to use already learned theoretical knowledge from data mining lectures in practical applications. For this purpose multiple  data sets are processed. The data sets are provided by the participants.

Techniques and problems targeted in the lab course can be: Representation of sample data, feature selection, different methods of data mining and machine learning, predictive models, validation, and performance measurement.

On a weekly meeting, the steps for the next week are discussed. During the week, participants work on their own on the data sets.
