By Bus
From Mainz main station ("Hauptbahnhof"), bus 69 goes directly to the Department for Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science at Staudingerweg (8 minutes).The bus stop is marked in the map below.
Bus 69 usually runs every 10 minutes. All other buses which also go to the university stop at Saarstraße/K4, which is on the east side of the campus. From there it is a 15 minutes walk through the campus to the west where the Department for Physics, Maths and Computer Science is located. We therefore recommend to take bus 69 ("Universität/FH") from Mainz main station to "Staudingerweg". From stop "Staudingerweg" it is still 2-3 minutes to the Department (Google Maps), the middle of the three buildings, as indicated in the first map. There you take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
